Lenten Facebook Break

This Lent I decided to give up Facebook. The first couple of days were rough. I found myself automatically wanting to click the now-deleted shortcut key. I did check it on Sunday - just to see if anyone else wanted to be on my blog list. I was amazed that once I had checked it again, I had not really missed that much. Maybe - just maybe - by the end of Lent I'll have broken my FB addiction.

I do miss posting random thoughts as status' though. So perhaps I'll start posting them here.

Little Kicks

As the ticker along the sidebar states, we are 16 weeks into this pregnancy. I finally started feeling human again a few weeks ago, but still have my "green" moments. I felt the first tiny kicks this past weekend. Somehow, that makes it all worth it!

Will's 4th Birthday

This past Saturday we celebrated Will's 4th Birthday with swimming with friends, then home for pizza and cake. He has been talking about his much anticipated birthday for quite a while now. He had a good day!

Thanks especially to Grandma and Grandpa Krondak for braving the snow to travel for the party. Because of the crazy snowstorms over Christmas, we had not seen them for a good six months. It was great to have them here.

The very cool TRex.

The very FAVORITE Buzz Lightyear toy.

In his Superman shirt and wearing his Spiderman watch. Thanks Aunt Gretch!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Michael & Sophia went to the locally sponsored Daddy-Daughter Dance the Friday before Valentine's Day. The Rec Center sponsored a "Spa" before the dance. Little girls could have their make-up, nails and hair done. It was so cute. Sophia ate it all up, while Will & Nicholas were tremendously bored while she was being dolled-up.

Here are some pix.
